What the Scan Includes:
- Follicle Assessment: Detailed measurements of follicles on the ovaries to assess their size & development.
- Endometrial Evaluation: Examination of the endometrial lining to support embryo implantation readiness.
Cycle Compatibility:
- Suitable for both natural and medicated (stimulated) cycles, providing essential insights to monitor and optimize your fertility treatment process.
- Ideal Time for Scan: 12-14, 16 & 18 day of Cycle. Package of 3 Scans.
Your Scan
The Follicle Tracking & Endometrium Scan is designed for individuals currently undergoing fertility treatment or trying to conceive, providing vital pelvic assessment information required by your fertility clinic.
About the Procedure:
- Performed by Qualified Sonographers: All scans are conducted by experienced sonographers with diagnostic scanning expertise.
- Transvaginal (Internal) Scan: We will begin the scan abdominally. Following this, we will proceed with a transvaginal scan for greater clarity and accuracy. Your sonographer will request your consent before performing the transvaginal scan.
What’s Included:
- 20-minute diagnostic appointment (Including 15mins scan time)
- Internal (transvaginal) scan for precise imaging
- Full written report: You will receive a clear, written report summarising your scan findings by email the next day.
Eligibility: Available to individuals aged 18 and over.
Preparing for your scan
- Hydration: Drink 500ml (1 pint) of clear fluid about 1 hour before your scan.
- Bladder Management: Do not urinate before your appointment to ensure the best possible ultrasound images.
- Dress Comfortably: Wear a two-piece outfit (e.g., top with trousers or a skirt) for easy access to your abdomen.
