About the Procedure:
- Available to individuals aged 18 and over.
- The scan is optimally performed transvaginally for the highest clarity and accuracy. Your sonographer will request your consent for this method.
- If you prefer not to have a transvaginal scan, a transabdominal scan may be performed, but results may be less precise.
- Scan Length is 10minutes
Results: You will receive a clear, written report summarising your scan findings by email the next day.
Preparation for Your Appointment
- Empty your bladder before your appointment for better imaging clarity.
- Dress in a two-piece outfit (e.g., trousers and a top or a skirt and a top) to ensure easy access to your abdomen.
