The NIPT+ with Microdeletions process is as straightforward as a standard blood test, performed by a qualified phlebotomist for your convenience.
Your appointment includes a reassuring ultrasound scan conducted by an experienced and certified sonographer, ensuring both accuracy and peace of mind.
What Does NIPT+ with Microdeletions Screen For?
This advanced screening goes beyond the standard NIPT, analyzing all 22 chromosomal pairs, including:
- Sex chromosomes (optional)
Additionally, it screens for specific microdeletion syndromes:
- 1p36 Deletion Syndrome
- Wolf-Hirschhorn Syndrome (4p16.3 deletion)
- Cri-du-Chat Syndrome (5p15 deletion)
- Prader-Willi Syndrome (15q11.2-q13 deletion)
- Angelman Syndrome (15q11.2-q13 deletion)
- DiGeorge Syndrome (22q11.2 deletion)
